Help with NightRelight.

NightRelight is built for underexposed night photos. These answers cover the most common questions without asking you to upload a photo or diagnostic file.

Contact support

Email qmqx2026@163.com for app help or privacy questions.

Describe what happened and include your iPhone model, iOS version, and NightRelight version. Please do not send private photos, passwords, verification codes, or identity documents. Support is handled by email; there is no photo-upload portal.

Does NightRelight upload my photos?

No. The bundled model processes the photo on your iPhone. Saved rescues and processing logs stay in the app’s local container.

Does relighting need internet access?

No. Relighting a locally available photo works offline. Downloading an iCloud-only original is a separate Apple service and may require a connection.

Does NightRelight require an account?

No. NightRelight 1.0.0 build 11 has no registration or login, and all photo features work without an account.

What kind of photos work best?

Use photos taken at night or in dim environments where a person or main subject is underexposed but still visible. NightRelight is not designed for daylight editing, severe motion blur, or recovering detail that the camera never captured.

Why can’t NightRelight open a photo?

The item may still be stored only in iCloud or may use an unsupported format. Wait for Photos to finish downloading it, then select it again. JPG, PNG, and HEIC are supported by the picker.

Why does NightRelight ask for Photos access?

The system picker works without full-library access. Permission is requested only to save a result or, if you choose it, to scan locally for dark photos. You can change access in iPhone Settings at any time.

Is NightRelight free?

Yes. There is no subscription, in-app purchase, paywall, or advertising.

Can processing change facial details?

Yes. The local model and noise reduction may alter fine details, especially at high strength. NightRelight is designed for lighting, not face replacement. Compare with the original and reduce the strength or keep the original if details look different.

How do I delete a saved rescue?

Open Edit history from the NightRelight home screen, choose Select, and move the item to Recently Deleted. You can recover it there or permanently delete it. This never deletes a copy in Apple Photos.

What happened to an earlier local sign-in?

Build 11 removes the exact NightRelight identity record saved by earlier builds while keeping photo history. If local removal fails, Settings shows a retry action. A previous Apple-side authorization can be managed separately in iPhone Settings > your Apple Account > Sign in with Apple.

Where can I see processing details?

Open Settings, then Diagnostics. The log shows stages, timing, dimensions, and memory only; it does not include your image, filename, or account details.
